The Sussex Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses exists to share the good news of God's Kingdom with every person in our community and beyond. We do this in obedience to Jesus Christ's commission recorded in Matthew 28:19, 20 — to make disciples and teach them all the things he commanded.
Everything we do — our meetings, our Bible studies, our outreach, our friendships — flows from one central purpose: helping people build a meaningful, lasting relationship with Jehovah God and experience the joy that comes from living by his standards.

We envision a Sussex where every resident has had a genuine opportunity to hear and understand the Bible's message of hope — a peaceful new world free of suffering, injustice, and death, as promised in Revelation 21:3, 4.
Our vision for this congregation is a tightly-knit spiritual family where newcomers feel immediately welcomed, long-time members are continually strengthened, and the surrounding community recognises us as a source of comfort, integrity, and practical help in difficult times.

We base every teaching and decision on the Bible alone. We believe the Scriptures are "inspired of God and beneficial" (2 Timothy 3:16) and that accurate knowledge leads to real freedom (John 8:32).
Following the example of Jesus, we pursue love for God and neighbour above all else. Our congregation is a place where every person — regardless of background — is treated with dignity and kindness.
We are committed to Sussex, New Brunswick. We live here, work here, and serve here. Building strong, supportive relationships within our congregation and neighbourhood is central to who we are.

Our mission is not just words on a page — it is expressed every week through concrete activities that serve God and benefit our neighbours.
Every week we gather twice — on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings — for congregation meetings that combine upbuilding talks, interactive Bible discussions, and practical Christian training. These meetings are open to everyone and always free of charge.
One of our most personal expressions of mission is the offer of a free, no-obligation Bible study conducted in your home, at our Kingdom Hall, or virtually. Qualified members visit at your convenience and guide you through any Bible topic you choose — no prior knowledge required.
Members of our congregation regularly visit homes, workplaces, and public spaces throughout Sussex to share Bible literature and have meaningful conversations about life's big questions. This public ministry is carried out respectfully, always at the invitation of the householder.
Our elders — experienced, trained congregation servants — make themselves available to provide spiritual counsel, emotional support, and practical assistance to members and interested community members alike. All pastoral care is confidential and rooted in Scripture.
We invest deeply in the next generation. Our congregation meetings include age-appropriate segments for children, and our members actively apply Bible principles at home — building strong, loving families that are a blessing to the wider community.
